Welcome to the Agent's Section of the BCSRA Website!

The B C Sports Rep Association, a non-profit society, was formed to unify agents and representatives in the general sporting goods industry throughout the province. Members of the association travel in B.C. as a territory.

The Association hosts two buyer markets per year, providing high-profile opportunities for members to exhibit and sell their products to retailers.

In order to exhibit at our Shows, you must be a member.

ADVANTAGES TO MEMBERSHIP

• Representation in each Show Directory that the agent participates in
• Show promotion to over 1500 retailers
• Identification signage at each Buymart
• Services of the Secretariat office and show staff
• Advertising opportunities
• Acknowledgement on the membership phone/fax list distributed to over 1500 retailers.

HOW TO BECOME A BCSRA MEMBER

Simply complete the application form and return it with your payment (the initiation fee is $258.75 - this is a one time fee.  Yearly dues are $103.50.  Both amounts are subject to gst). Please note that all potential members are required to pay an initiation fee, as well as the annual dues per year. Thereafter only the annual dues must be paid - in January.

Once we have processed your application you will receive all correspondence sent out of the BCSRA office, including your registration form for each show. The registration package always includes an information page, registration form and advertising application.

ABOUT THE SHOW DIRECTORY

The Show Directory is the Association's single most valuable marketing tool. It lists the many agents involved in the Buymart, along with their address, telephone and fax numbers, and lines represented.

Every retailer attending the Buymart receives the book, which provides valuable assistance to them in arranging their appointments during the show - and it serves as a useful reference afterwards.

Advertising is an important part of our show book. This is an excellent opportunity to advertise at an economical price to a very targeted audience.
